In a lighthearted scene to kick off NXT Heatwave, Tony D’Angelo and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo were lounging by a pool, discussing the upcoming card. When a group of young women joined them, one of them was very familiar, because it was Arianna Grace.
Arianna Grace, the real-life daughter of former WWE star Santino Marella, had been missing from NXT television while recovering from an ACL injury, with her last wrestling match dating back to October of the previous year. However, she certainly hasn’t been idle during her recovery period. In fact, Grace recently participated in Canada’s Miss Universe pageant, earning a spot in the top 20.
Arianna Grace updated her fans at the beginning of this month that she had resumed her in-ring training, hinting that we might see her back in the ring on our screens sooner rather than later.
During tonight’s segment, there was a reference to the real-life relationship between Arianna Grace and Stacks, marking the first time this aspect of their personal lives has been acknowledged on television. Few fans know that Arianna Grace and Stacks are an item, but they do now.
