Vocalist Christian Älvestam (Solution .45, ex-Scar Symmetry, etc.) and guitarists Patrik Gardberg (Solution .45) and Patrik Von Porat (Cromonic, Freternia) have a brand new band called Hordes In Exile. The band is now streaming their debut single “The Emptiness In Which You Hide” which, as you’ll see above, is extremely ’80s in every way possible.
“Born out of the deep love for metal and inspired by the timeless sounds of the 80s, Hordes In Exile is here to electrify your world with captivating melodies and intense performances,” said the band.
“Hordes In Exile is an homage to the sound of our youth, the 80s! If you’re a fan of bands/artists, such as Ratt, Europe, John Norum, Winger, Dokken, Yngwie Malmsteen, Alien, Steelheart, Queensrÿche, Warrant, Fastway, Slaughter and Giant, to name a few, this will most likely strike your fancy!”
