Logan Paul and Dillon Danis are set to throw down in a boxing match on October 14th, and that Manchester fight is getting attention online. Dillon Danis brought Logan Paul’s fiancé, Nina Agdal, into things, by posting photo of her kissing someone who wasn’t the Maverick, even alluding to a cheating scandal.
Logan Paul is gearing up to step back into the boxing ring for a showdown with Dillon Danis, and he’s taking proactive measures to secure his payday, regardless of the fight’s outcome. After all, Dillon Danis might talk a big game, but he has pulled out of fights in the past.
Dillon Danis is the most recent former MMA competitor slated to face Logan Paul. The Maverick’s last boxing match was in June 2021, an eight-round exhibition bout against Floyd Mayweather Jr., which ended in an unscored draw.
In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer highlighted an interesting detail in Logan Paul and Dillon Danis’ contract. Given Danis’s history of pulling out of fights, Paul has taken a precautionary step. Meltzer noted, “Paul did make him sign in the contract that he would have to pay Paul $100,000 if Danis pulls out of the fight due to a fake injury, and that it would be Paul’s doctor who would determine if he was faking the injury or not.”
It was also pointed out that the genuine risks fighters face during rigorous training, where legitimate injuries can occur, can cause an issue with this clause. Either way, it seems that Dillon Danis is more than ready to step in the ring with Logan Paul. KSI is also set to fight Tommy Fury on the Manchester card, but their match doesn’t have quite the same feel to it.
Dillon Danis also alleged that Logan Paul sent him legal letter over those shots at Nina Agdal. Hopefully, they can keep this hype up for another two months, but things are a bit heated online right now.
