CM Punk and The Elite are still not okay with each other. Now, it appears that one shot that CM Punk took at ROH merch might have been an indirect shot at the Young Bucks as well.

Ahead of the 2023 ROH Death Before Dishonor PPV, CM Punk took to his Instagram story to share a snapshot of an event t-shirt. Accompanied by a series of laughing and contemplative emojis, Punk playfully captioned the image with the following words.

We previously reported that CM Punk was quick to put this mistake up on social media with a caption that dragged the t-shirt.

“Absolutely not shocking. How could this happen?”

The printed t-shirt mistakenly indicated that the event would take place on Saturday, when in fact it was scheduled for Friday. According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, although a batch of shirts was produced, the error was promptly identified, and none of those shirts were put up for sale.

“Why he [Punk] did that was unknown, but internally some saw this as a shot at Dana Massie, the wife of Matt [Jackson], who is in charge of AEW merchandise. Whatever it was, it didn’t seem to make any sense to post it and certainly wasn’t good for the public optics.”

Dana Massie’s official title is Chief Marketing & Merchandising Officer for AEW. It might be notable considering CM Punk’s current beef with Matt Jackson and his brother.

We will keep a close eye on this story, and everything else in this situation. A lot more could be left to unpack by the time everything is said and done. If anything, at least ROH didn’t sell any of those misprinted t-shirt.
