LA Knight made a significant impression after his debut at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day on February 14th, 2021. While Knight is one of the most over WWE Superstars right now, he doesn’t want his rise to be chill compared to Sami Zayn and Daniel Bryan.

The former NXT Superstar has organically gotten over with fans due to his ability to connect with the audience, which is mostly because of his remarkable work on the microphone.

Daniel Bryan was one of the most beloved WWE Superstars during his time in the company, whose rise to the top set the standard for many. The same can be said for Sami Zayn over the past year.

While speaking to WESH in a recent interview, LA Knight stated that his rise in WWE should not be compared to Daniel Bryan and Sami Zayn’s rise in the company.

“Well you know, look, and not to take anything away from the names that you named; Sami Zayn, Daniel Bryan, all those guys. They did amazing things to get that kind of reaction but at the same time, I think, in a weird way, you can’t even compare their thing to mine only because they had already been established. They had already had runs as champions, whether it was Tag Team Champion, Intercontinental Champion, U.S. Champion, whatever it was, they’ve had runs whereas I am completely out of the gate for most of this audience since October.

LA Knight will be participating in the SummerSlam Battle Royal this week. We will have to wait and see how WWE will book him after the Premium Live Event ends, as fans want nothing but the best for him.

What’s your view on what LA Knight said? Do you agree with him? Let us know in the comments!
