Tripathi revealed that his father has yet to set foot in a movie theater and shared his mother’s initial response after watching one of his films.
In an interview with Mashable, Tripathi disclosed that his father visited Mumbai only once for the housewarming of his first home. “He is not attached to lavish houses,” Tripathi stated. The actor conveyed that his father remains unaware of his activities in the film industry, and he added, “He doesn’t hold great pride in my achievements. My father hasn’t even seen a movie theater from the inside. He watches my work when someone shows it to him on their computer or our recently installed television at home.”
As for his mother, Pankaj recounted, “My mother watches me on TV and remarks, ‘Call him and tell him he’s become very thin, he’s not eating or sleeping properly.’ She doesn’t focus on my acting.”
