WWE will hold the next NXT Great American Bash on Sunday, July 30th, 2023 at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park in Cedar Park, Texas. The card already had a few big matches, but the card wasn’t finished, as they added even more action this week on NXT. The event will started with title change, and Gable Steveson had quite debut match. Dominik Mysterio also retained his NXT North American Title in controversial fashion.
Before the main event of NXT Great American Bash started, they aired a backstage segment that caught a lot of attention. That included Dominik Mysterio having a very interesting intereaction.
They played a highlight from the kickoff show where Dragon Lee, Nathan Frazer, Yulisa León, and Valentina Feroz beat the MetaFour in eight-person tag team action. They played a clip from that match during the premium live event, and then they showed the winners backstage for a moment.
As Dragon Lee split of from his partners that night, he ran into Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Riley. Then they had a very interesting interaction. After throwing some shade at Rey Mysterio, Dominik Mysterio took a shot at Dragon Lee before walking away with The Nightmare.
Dragon Lee remained there, looking on and very unhappy. This could be apparent foreshadowing for what’s next for Dominik Mysterio after his NXT North American Title defense at the Great American Bash.
