After consuming hallucinogenic mushrooms, the Imperial soldiers start to experience terrible visions and lose control of their bodies.
Hallucinogenic mushrooms are used by Prince Lechen and his hard-working warriors to stir up commotion among the opposing ranks. The Imperial side loses soldiers, so they withdraw. When Prince Lechen states victory, his warriors rejoice joyfully. The celebration, though, ends quickly. Lichen suddenly falls to the ground after learning he has eaten some toxic mushrooms by accident.
His whole life is in jeopardy. He commands his loyal warriors to battle on as he nears his death. He declares his affection for Princess Yuna and wishes for her security. He shuts his eyes and falls into a coma. Readers are left waiting in the event as the chapter comes to a close, wondering what will become of Princess Yuna and Prince Lechen.
Throughout the narrative, it is still unclear if Prince Lechen will recover from the accidental poisoning he received and whether Princess Yuna will be able to flee the Emperor’s grasp.
