WWE is all about bringing back previously popular stables and gimmicks as a way to sell more merchandise and write more angles. Before WrestleMania 39, Rey Mysterio proposed to Legado Del Fantasma that they should together revive the Latino World Order. Now that they have been together for a while, it appears Santos Escobar made it clear why WWE allowed to use Eddie Guerrero’s Entrance.

WWE re-introduced the LWO stable right before WrestleMania 39 and they have been carrying on the legacy of Eddie Guerrero ever since. Fans were surprised to see Legado Del Fantasma turning babyface but they have now warned up to the stable.

While speaking to Steve Fall on Ten Count, Santos Escobar revealed why WWE allowed them to use Eddie’s old theme song. Santos would then reveal the real reason for them to use Eddie Guerrero’s entrance theme.

You asked about the song? About Viva La Raza? Rey and I thought that it was very important to have something that pay homage to the original creator of the group, which was Eddie [Guerrero]. And anything short than wearing his gears in the ring, the Viva La Raza was probably the most iconic phrase, at least to our people.

Triple H also initially rejected pitch to bring back the LWO in WWE. Now it remains to be seen what the company has planned for the faction, as they continue to be beloved babyfaces even now. After all, even Konnan is open to rejoining the faction somewhere down the line.
