Wolves in the Throne Room have announced a new four-song EP titled Crypt of Ancestral Knowledge. In advance of its September 29th release via Relapse Records, the black metal band has unveiled the song “Twin Mouthed Spring.”
“Twin Mouthed Spring” features vocals and acoustic guitar performed by drummer Cedar Serpent (aka Aaron Weaver), who commented, “This song travels to a deep wellspring of passion and creativity. Themes from Celtic Mythology are pulled apart and remade.”
The EP news comes a couple of weeks after Wolves in the Throne Room announced a fall North American tour. The outing kicks off September 29th in St. Louis, and runs through an October 24th show in Denver. Tickets are available here.
