Roman Reigns ushered in his own era of The Bloodline and has continued to rule over WWE since then. He also faced off against Jey Uso at WWE SummerSlam last week and it appears the match was criticized for not making sense.

Roman Reigns’ loss at Money In The Bank led to the trial of the Tribal Chief. Roman Reigns teased making Jey Uso the head of the table earlier this month, but that didn’t happen as he made it clear he will remain The Tribal Chief. Afterwards, Jey Uso challenged him to match at SummerSlam.

During the Trial Combat match at the WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event, Jey Uso was very close to finally beating Roman Reigns before Jimmy Uso interfered in the match and betrayed Jey Uso – costing him the match and completely shocking fans.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray and Mark Henry talked about Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso and called out WWE for the match not making sense, particularly with both Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso attacking Jey Uso.

“The thing that threw me off was not that I didn’t think he was going to win, even though I knew he wasn’t going to win,” Henry said. “But the rules were not described to me enough that I was able to understand why Solo was able to do anything. I thought it was about honor. I thought it was about not being involved, that you forfeited the chance to be the Tribal Chief by interference, or anything like that. I also didn’t get enough understanding of why Jimmy would help. Why?

We will have to wait and see how WWE will book Jimmy and Jey Uso’s feud in the coming weeks. As for Roman Reigns, perhaps he will find a new opponent very soon as well.
