The episode begins with the first and second prince (Chu Kong) bowing down to the empress of the Moluo Clan. When he raises his head, he is stunned to see that it is none other than Xiaotang(Xiang Yun). When the empress orders all to leave except Chu Kong, he acts to be upset because she did not reveal her identity.

She clarifies that he did not want to marry Moluo Empress, so she had no other option. Besides, he cannot get rid of her in this life. He gives her a sweet peck on her lips, holding her in his arms as she agrees not to hide things from him anymore.

The first prince of the Qilin Divine clan(Chu Kong’s elder brother) is worried that after marrying the empress, he will be the preferred leader of their clan, so he decides not to let the marriage happen. On the other hand, protector Jin is worried that now, as the empress is becoming an adult, her powers will grow.

Chu Kong and XiangYun start talking about their marriage, but there is a problem. Chu Kong does not want to be the clan leader as he thinks the succession right belongs to his elder brother. That is the sole reason he always denied marrying the Moluo empress.
